Software industries prevent people from copying software illegally by having a sticker telling you it must not be copied, but it only could be copied in accordance with a licence agreement. Also some software industry contain this organisation called FAST, it prevents hackers and other users from breaking the copyright law.
How has IT had an effect on using materials (images/music/information)?
IT has effected the use of materials because anytime a person downloads a copy of a material illegally online without pay or having a legal right to be downloaded for free, the creator of that material would not have appreciation for what he created in other terms he would not get paid because the material which was illegally downloaded was entirely free to the person who downloaded it
