Economic impacts of IT – Working Practises and Sustainability

How has IT changed the way we work and manufacturing?

IT has changed the way many people work in many ways such as, been able to write down text and numbers into a computer system and then storing data and document, than writing down your work on paper which waste a lot of time than working on the computer.

IT develops within years, which means in time new systems are invented , therefore as a result more jobs would be introduced within IT.

Long time ago within modern days there where factories such as the coca cola, there where hired people hired to work in manufacturing factories such as the coca cola factory because in modern days technology was not advance or developed to work as people wanted.

But now there are less of them because of the introduction of new technology which could do the job than hiring people to do it. This is an advantage because with new machines doing the work, the company could save a lot of money. This is also a disadvantage because less jobs would be introduced within IT.

Where we work from?

IT has changed where we work because different types of computer devices have been created for different types of purposes. Especially modern have been created to provide us with internet(WI-FI), and with internet we have the possibility to work anywhere. Places such as like a local library, colleges, bar and restaurants contain free wireless internet which means you could work anywhere at any-time.



Does everyone need to know IT skills?

Nowadays,you mostly have to use something which is IT within your surrounding such as a vehicles, embedding devices(fridge, microwave,etc), telephones or other types of Gadgets. This would mean everyone needs to know IT skills within a technology.





Has IT created more or less jobs?

IT has created more jobs because within the upcoming years there are new technology been revealed which means within the concept of new things there would be new jobs introduced into IT.




How has IT changed manufacturing?

IT has changed manufacturing because within the up coming years, new technology are been developed and introduced. which means there have been advantages of manufacturing products such as the coca cola product. With the upcoming of new technologies within IT it brings some disadvantages within IT, such as less jobs been introduced into IT, failed or broken machines and more.
